Solution -  Let,

C = 100

B = C + (24/100 *C)

B = 100 + (24/100*100)

B = 124

A = 40% of B

A = (40/100*124)

A = 49.6

C's income is more than A's income in percentage = 100 - 49.6

                                                                        = 50.4

                                                                        = (50.4/49.6*100)

                                                                        = 101.6

Hence, 

The correct option is (b)101.6%
