Let,
Total number of employees = 100
Female employees = 30% of 100
Female employees = 30
No. of female employees earn greater than 8,000 = 30% of total female employees
No. of female employees earn greater than 8,000 = (30/100) × 30
No. of female employees earn greater than 8,000 = 9
Male employees = 100 - 30
Male employees = 70
No. of male employees earn less than 8,000 = 80% of total male employees
No. of male employees earn less than 8,000 = (80/100) × 70
No. of male employees earn less than 8,000 = 56
But,
We don't know that whether there are some male employees who has exactly Rs. 8,000 per month as their salary or not.
