The amended provisions of the Constitution through the 94th Constitutional Amendment-

By this constitutional amendment, liberating Bihar from the obligation to appoint a tribal minister, this provision has now been implemented for Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. Along with these two newly formed states, this provision has now become effective in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha also. where it was already in use.
