Ques - A is 75% less than B and C is 75% of the difference between A and B, C is what percentage more than A? (SSC CPO 2019, 13.12.2019 Shift-1)

Solution - Let,
B = 100
A = B - 75% of B
A = 100 - (75/100) × 100
A = 25
C = 75% of (B - A)
C = (75/100) × (100 - 25)
C = (75/100) × 75
C = 56.25
C is more than A in percentage = [(C - A)/25] × 100
= (56.25 - 25) × 4
= 31.25 × 4
= 125
Hence,
The correct option is (a)125.
