(b) 1650

(c) 2010

(d) 1780

Solution - Let the number is x.

 x + 16% of x = 1914

x + [(16/100)*x] =1914

x + [0.16x] = 1914

1.16x = 1914

x = 1914/1.16

x = 1650

Therefore,

The correct answer is (b) 1650.
