Eightieth Constitutional Amendment, 2000
The amended provisions of the Constitution through the 80th Constitutional Amendment-
Provision of an 'alternative devaluation scheme' of revenue between the center and the state. This arrangement was made after the recommendation of the 10th Finance Commission. It was said in the recommendation that 29 percent of the total income received from central taxes and duties should be divided among the states.
