Revised provisions of the Constitution through the 15th Constitutional Amendment-

 

1. High Court against any person or authority. Right to file writs outside the states also. If the reason therefor arose within his jurisdiction.

 

2. The retirement age of High Court judges increased from 60 to 62 years.

 

3.Provision for appointment of retired Judge of High Court as Executive Judge in the same High Court.

 

4. Payment of compensatory allowances to Judges on transfer from one High Court to another.

 

5.Provision for appointment of retired judges of the High Court as temporary judges in the Supreme Court.

 

6. Arrangement of procedure for determining the age of Supreme and High Court judges.
