(a) Rs. 18

(b) Rs. 36

(c) Rs. 81

(d) Rs. 40.5

Solution - Cost of 40 aticles = 180

Cost of 1 article = 180/40

Cost of 1 article = 9/2

Cost of 18 articles = 18(9/2)

Cost of 18 articles = 81

Hence,

The correct answer is Rs. 81
