Given,
In a wallet the ratio of 25 paise, 50 paise and Re. 1 coins are in the ratio of 12 : 4 : 3
Total amount in a wallet = Rs. 600
The number of coins of 25 paise = 12x
The number of coins of 50 paise = 4x
The number of coins of 100 paise = 3x
Total amount in terms of coins = Total money in wallet
(25 × 12x) + (50 × 4x) + (100 × 3x) = 60000 (paise)
300x + 200x + 300x = 60000
800x = 60000
x = 60000/800
x = 75
So,
The number of coins of 25 paise = 12x
= 12 × 75
= 900
Thus,
The number of coins of 25 paise are 900.
Hence,
The correct answer is option (d) none of these.
