Madhya Pradesh Census 2011 

  • The first census was started in 1872 during the tenure of Lord Mayo.
  • Continuing from the term of Lord Ripon in 1881.
  • The Census Commissioner's office is in New Delhi with the Director General Mr. C. Chandramouli.
