State Election Commission MP State Election Commission

  • Madhya Pradesh State Election Commission was constituted on January 19 under Article 243 ( T - 3) for fair implementation of the election process in the state. Its chairman is appointed by the governor.

 

Madhya Pradesh State Election Commission Facts

  • Madhya Pradesh is the first state in India to set up a State Election Commission.
  • The notification regarding the election of Panchayats was issued by the Madhya Pradesh State Election Commission on 15 April 1994 .
  • The first chairman of the Madhya Pradesh State Election Commission, Shri N.B. Lohani and the current president is Mr. Basant Pratap Singh.

  • The Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission was constituted on 13 September 1995 by the State Government in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 41(1) of the Protection of Human Rights Act , 1993 .
  •  The chairman and members of this commission are appointed by the governor.
  •  Presently its chairman is Justice Narendra Kumar Jain.

  • Similar to the Attorney General of India at the Central level, the provision of Advocate General at the State level (Article 165) has been made. The Advocate General is the highest legal officer of the state who is appointed by the Governor. According to Article 177 , the Advocate General is not a member of the Legislative Assembly. But can participate in the meeting of the Legislative Assembly and discuss.
  • The Advocate General holds his office during the pleasure of the Governor. Therefore, its tenure is not fixed. He can resign his office at any time by resigning to the Governor.
  • The first Advocate General of Madhya Pradesh was Mr. M. Adhikari. The present Advocate General is Shri Prashant Singh.

  • Madhya Pradesh Scheduled Castes and Tribes Commission was constituted by the Act of 1995-96 .
  • At present, the chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Scheduled Castes Commission is Bhupendra Singh Arya and the chairman of the Tribal Commission is Shri Narendra Maravi.

 

Madhya Pradesh Backward Classes Commission MP OBC commission

  • The State Backward Classes Commission was constituted by the Madhya Pradesh government on March 13 , 1993 to administer schemes related to the welfare of backward classes. The current chairman of the Madhya Pradesh State Backward Classes Commission is Gaurishankar Bisen.
  • Directorate Backward Classes Welfare was established on 12 October 1982 . On 12 September 1991 , a separate backward classes and minorities welfare department was formed by the state government.
  • In compliance of the directions given by the Supreme Court of India in the year 1990 in Indira Sawhney and Union of India against others ,  the State Level Madhya Pradesh State Backward Classes Commission was constituted by the Government of Madhya Pradesh on March 13, 1993.

State Minorities Commission State minority commission

  • This commission was constituted on 23 October 1996 under the State Minorities Act- 1996 . Presently the chairman of this commission is Niaz Mohammad Khan.

 

Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board

  • Under the Waqf Act- 1995 , this board was constituted in the year 1996 for the maintenance control and administration of all the Waqf properties of the state Its current chief executive is Ahmed Khan.

 

Madhya Pradesh State Information Commission

  • The State Information Commission was constituted on 22 August 2005 under Section 15 of the Right to Information Act , 2005 Its current commissioner is Shri Arvind Shukla.

 

Madhya Pradesh State Commission for Women

  • State Women's Commission was constituted on 23 March 1999 under section 3 of Madhya Pradesh State Commission for Women Act 1995 with the objective of empowering women in Madhya Pradesh, taking swift action on atrocities and crimes against women Its current chairman is Shobha Ojha.

 

Madhya Pradesh Public Service Guarantee Act

  • Madhya Pradesh is the first state in India to pass the Public Service Guarantee Act in the year 2010 . Its purpose is to establish good governance in the civil service delivery process by the government. Under the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Guarantee Act , 302 services have been notified in 30 departments .

 

Accountant General of Madhya Pradesh

  • For the audit of various departments and organizations of the state and central government in Madhya Pradesh, the Accountant General's office has been established in the year 1985 at Gwalior and the Deputy Accountant General's office at Bhopal. From October 1, 2004 , the office located at Bhopal is called the Office of the Accountant General and the office at Gwalior is called the Office of the Principal Accountant.

 

State Economic Crime Investigation Bureau

  • The State Economic Offenses Investigation Bureau has been constituted on November 20 , 1976 at the Police Headquarters, Bhopal, to check specific types of economic crimes communal and disruptive activities in the state and to investigate crimes .

 

State Administrative Tribunal

  • It has been established in the year 1985 in Jabalpur under the Administrative Authorities Act- 1985 to resolve disputes arising out of appointments and service recruitment to public services and posts in the Central and State under Article 323 of the Constitution.

 

Madhya Pradesh Lokayukta

  • In Madhya Pradesh, on June 20 , 1969 , under the chairmanship of Narasimha Rao Dixit, a proposal was made to establish a Lokayukta to resolve public problems. Under which provision was made for the establishment of Lokayukta and Uplokayukta in the year 1981 . Its purpose is to prevent political and administrative corruption and abuse of office.

  • Madhya Pradesh State Vigilance Commission was constituted on 1st March 1964 . It consists of Chief Vigilance Commissioner and Deputy Vigilance Commissioner. Apart from the appointment of Vigilance Commissioner at the state level, vigilance officers are also appointed at the divisional and district level.

  • Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission was constituted on 27 October 1956 under Section 118(3) of the State Reorganization Commission The chairman and members of this commission are appointed by the governor on the advice of the state council of ministers. Its office is located in Indore.

  • It was established in Bhopal in the year 1966 as Lal Bahadur Shastri Public Administrative Institute. In the year 1975 it was named Madhya Pradesh Administrative Academy and in the year 2001 the former Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh RCVP. It is named RCVP in memory of Noronha. Noronha Administrative and Managerial Academy was established. Here training is provided to the selected officers in the State Administrative Service and other services. Officers of the rank of Chief Secretary are appointed to the post of Director General of the Academy.

 

Madhya Pradesh State Planning Commission

  • The State Planning Board was first constituted in Madhya Pradesh on 24 October 1972 and on 21 September 2007 its name was changed to State Planning Commission. The chairman of this commission is the Chief Minister and the Deputy Minister, Planning Minister and the secretary of the state government are its ex-officio secretary. Apart from these, the commission consists of members , 15 advisors , 12 assistant advisors and 12 sub-advisors.

 

Madhya Pradesh State Finance Commission

  • After the 73rd and 74th Constitutional Amendments, a provision has been made under Article 243( i) 1 to set up a Finance Commission to review the economic condition of the Panchayats after every 5 years.
  • The first Finance Commission in Madhya Pradesh was constituted on June 14 , 1994 , with Mr. Sawai Singh as its chairman. Presently the chairman of the 15th Finance Commission is NK Singh. 

 

District Planning Committee  District Planning Committee

  • In Madhya Pradesh, by the 74th Constitutional Amendment 1992 , a provision has been made for the formation of District Planning Committees in various districts under Article 243 ( , d). In these committees, 80 percent members of Panchayat Raj Institutions and urban bodies of the district are included.
  • The District Planning Committee Act was passed in the year 195 with the objective of making the District Planning Committees more powerful and strong .

 

Sanjay Gandhi Youth Leadership and Rural Development Training Institute

  •   On 17th December 1980 , Sanjay Gandhi Youth Leadership and Rural Development Training Institute was established in Pachmarhi of Hoshangabad district to provide training related to rural development to the talented youth cadre residing in rural areas and public representatives working in village level institutions by Madhya Pradesh Panchayat and Rural Development Department . was established.

 

Madhya Pradesh State General Poor Classes Welfare Commission

 

  • On September 15 ,  2021, the name of State General Poor Classes Welfare Commission was changed by the State Government to Madhya Pradesh State General Poor Classes Welfare Commission '  .  
  • It is noteworthy that the State Government had constituted the State General Poor Classes Welfare Commission on January 28 ,  2008.
  • Regarding the change of name, the Deputy Secretary General Administration Department Manisha Setia has issued orders.
  • It is to be known that in Satna, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had made an announcement in this regard recently.
