Gaya -

Gaya is situated at a distance of 100 kms from Patna. It is a holy pilgrimage place for Hindus. Vishnupad temple is prominent in Gaya. According to legends, this temple has been built on the footprints of Lord Vishnu. The Pitrupaksha fair here is very famous in the country and the world. The Pretshila mountain of Gaya is visible which is situated near the Falgu river. Lord Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, attained enlightenment in Gaya, which is 17 km from the place (Bodh Gaya) Gaya. Patna -
