Sixteenth Constitutional Amendment, 1963
Revised provisions of the Constitution through the 16th Constitutional Amendment-
1. States were empowered to impose further restrictions on the rights of freedom of speech and expression, peaceful and unarmed convention, and association in the interests of the sovereignty and integrity of the nation.
2. Inclusion of sovereignty and integrity in the form of oath or affirmation to be taken by the candidates, members of the legislature, ministers, judges, and the Comptroller and Auditor of India participating in the election of the Legislature
